On the 26th October Diana King organised a Charity Day to raise funds for the local Cancer charity Cudeca

It started at 12 noon and there were over 20 stalls selling cakes, handicrafts, bric a brac jewelery and lots more, a fun bowls match was organised during the afternoon. The whole of Los Arcos and the Bowls Club were taken over by the fund raising event.

The afternoon raised over €1700 and the cheque was presented to the Cudeca representative by Diana King, Carol Coates and the club owner Hughie Holgate.
