The last league match of the season was played on Friday 29th August. It had been a great competition with nearly 40 players signing up. But, as the summer got hotter (this summer is supposed to have been the hottest for over 40 years) only 16 managed to play the qualifying 8 games for our scores to count. It turned into a close run match between Dennis King and Neil Marshall, but Dennis managed to hold on and accrued 207 points to Neils 202.
